A Visionary of Faith 

Rev. Jason Nathaniel Knight, a dedicated native of

Chesapeake, VA, is the Senior Pastor of the

Historic Mount Olive Baptist Church in Virginia

Beach, VA. His spiritual journey began on April 20,

1998, when he committed his life to Christ at First

Baptist Church South Hill. After being licensed to

preach the Gospel on July 19, 2008, he embraced

the call to pastoral ministry, ultimately leading to

his election as Senior Pastor Mount Olive Baptist Church on May 18,

2014.

During his tenure at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Pastor Knight has

inspired profound spiritual renewal and growth within the

congregation. His vision encompasses regaining the lost, revitalizing the

church, and fostering a vibrant community of faith. He is committed to

advancing God’s kingdom through authentic worship, meaningful

fellowship, biblical discipleship, and outreach.

Academically, Pastor Knight holds an Associate Degree in Biblical

Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Exposition from

Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA. He has continued

education in Pastoral Leadership from Baylor University as well as

Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

With a deep commitment to teaching and preaching the unadulterated

Word of God, Pastor Knight, alongside his wife, First Lady Denise

“D” Knight, and their daughter Janae, strives to reclaim lost

generations through the demonstration of God’s unfailing,

compassionate, and all-consuming love. This passionate young leader is

fervently dedicated to preaching a “living Word to a dying world.”
