Joy Olds is a native of Virginia Beach, VA and is the daughter of

Superintendent Anthony Olds and Lady Tina Olds. Joy is also a 2018 graduate of

Batten University where she majored in English. In May of 2019, she also

graduated from Batten University with her Master of Arts in Education. She is

currently a middle school teacher in the Virginia Beach City Public Schools.

She also leads a girls club at her school called GLOW(Girls Leading Our World).

Joy is the founder of Taking Back Our Daughters: a movement where her

goal is to help lead young women to Christ, educate and help them live their lives

on purpose. She is also involved in her community and church, Faith World

Ministries. Her prayer is that through her life, people will see and understand Jesus.
